APPLE

Celebrating process by showcasing

the adaptation of a true story.

For the Apple film Killers of the Flower Moon, Martin Scorsese and crew conducted extensive research and weaved intricate details into the recreation of this tragic tale. As a contracted writer and creative director, I was tasked to help create an immersive exhibit that turned the spotlight behind the curtain.

After the success of the initial launch, a virtual exhibit was created, and I wrote the narration and copy details of the experience.

MASTERS OF THEIR CRAFT

With each member of the film’s diverse and extensive crew expertly shaping its narrative through their specialized craft, Killers of the Flower Moon is truly a story told through a thousand voices.

Evoking every detail to preserve the nuances of this intricate tale, this elite team of artisans accomplished gritty realism through precision storytelling.

For this post-screening exposition, guests were invited to see, hear, touch, and feel their way through a celebration of the film’s craftspeople, as Apple shined the spotlight on the collaborative storytellers who brought KOTFM to life.

Visitors to this exhibit explored Scorsese’s and his team’s extensive research, discovered how sound and composition serve as emotional drivers, examined the fine detail of the elaborate wardrobe design, and placed themselves in the cinematic universe of 1920s Oklahoma.
